A lot of happenings, sunny weather and unpretentious yet excellent organization made this year’s Rijeka Nautic Show quite outstanding. For only 10 kunas (less than 2 US$) per ticket, visitors could sail on the training ship belonging to the Maritime School, look at the seabed of the Rijeka port through the glass bottom of a semi submarine, and experience diving for the very first time. The interest for test drives was huge, and RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) Falkor 22 spent more time at sea than at its spot in the exhibition hall. The members of the jury also recognized the quality of Falkor 22 since it was awarded the silver compass as the best new boat built in Croatia.
